Middleton, MA – Brenden McCarthy joined Nordlund Associates in 2024 to continue the growth of the companies’ footprint of tenant and landlord representation in Greater Boston. Prior to joining Nordlund Associates, Brenden worked at Cushman & Wakefield’s Boston office, where he was a key member in analyzing over 750+ real estate transactions amassing over $9.5 billion in value and 22.5M square feet in 35 States and 20 Countries. At Cushman, he worked on each asset class (industrial, life science and office) while also assisting in the management of the real estate portfolios of multiple Fortune 500 companies, Venture Capital & Private Equity portfolio companies’ and startups’ initial real estate decision-making phases. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, he was a member of TransDel’s Asset Management team North of Boston.
Brenden attended Malden Catholic High School before going on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in International Business and Business Management, with a minor in Economics at Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland. He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Mount St Mary’s University. While at the university, Brenden was a 5-year starter on the Division 1 men’s lacrosse team and a member of the Honors’ College.
Outside of real estate, Brenden is an active member in his community of Everett, where he grew up. He is the President of Everett Youth Lacrosse, a Goodwill Ambassador to the Country of Aruba, a member of the Everett Chamber of Commerce, and plays with the Italian National Lacrosse team in multiple tournaments each year.
